VQD to Teach at Strong House Inn in Vergennes, Vermont the weekend of October 22-24, 2010

Vermont Quilt Design is pleased to announce that Kay will be the guest teacher at a quilting weekend hosted by Strong House Inn in Vergennes, Vermont.

Strong House Inn has been hosting Quilting in Vermont weekends for many years. Kay will be teaching Thanksgiving Holiday Cabin or Christmas Holiday Cabin (quilters choice) on the weekend of Oct 22-24, 2010. This is an ideal time to get away to be pampered by the staff at the Inn, and learn to make the perfect log cabin block every time! Once you learn this technique, you'll never go back to the old way!

Strong House Inn is a lovely inn set in the Champlain Valley of Vermont with gorgeous gardens and views to the west. The quilting space is open, bright and cheerful with lots of windows to enjoy the foliage right outside. Each guest room is elegant and spacious. Innkeepers Mary and Hugh provide delightful atmosphere, with gourmet meals and snacks.

Cost of the weekend is $350 ppdo/$425so which includes 2 nights lodging, 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 2 dinners and afternoon tea.
